Sinna helped me to start making $1000/month with clips.

I didn’t know what I was doing, but I read her guide online (the adult-income basic clipstore guide) and got started.

First months:
I made $562 on clips4sale in the first month, $811 the next month, $736 the next month. I started posting clips on ManyVids in the second month and made $56 on there and $200 the next month. I added Iwantclips later and made around $100 month on there per month. It took 3-4 months for me to get to $1000/month from all the clip sites together on average, but it was definitely feasible.

Fetish you actually have:
It was a good suggestion in Sinna’s guide to make clips about a fetish you have, if you have one. I had never met anyone with my fetish, but a few hours after I posted my first 10 clips (and about 3 were about my fetish), people had started buying them. It was very validating. I’ve learned a lot more about my fetish from people who write to me about their stories and their ideas and request custom clips. I never realized how many different sides there were to this fetish before making clips about it.

Numbering system:
Sinna has a good idea to start at the middle (with numbering 2500/2499) and put HD mp4 versions to the front and others to the back. You can also have control over where things show up. If I release a good clip, I’ll leave it at the front longer than it would be otherwise by giving it a lower number.

I’m trying to conserve numbers by reusing them for a while, so that even if I release more than 5000 clip versions in the long run, I can keep up this numbering system of putting some to the front. Clips with the same number end up in order of when they were posted, usually, so sometimes I’ll use the same number for a while. So right now, all my clips at the back of the page are numbered 2682 this week, for example, and many clips at the front/top are numbered 2373.

Staying motivated:
Sinna has good suggestions for staying motivated and not procrastinating. You can’t really be motivated by money. The rewards are often very disconnected from the effort—you can work hard and not have anyone buy a clip, or you don’t see the results of your efforts for weeks.

You need to be motivated by feeling good about the clips you are creating.

I love it when clips really come together the right way or when I am able to capture what someone was looking for in their custom clip. There are things about making clips that are worth more than money.

In some categories I feel like you can get better with time, your ability to create the right emotions in the viewer improves with time. It can be motivating to see how your clips are getting better and how you are mastering the ability to create a certain kind of emotion in the viewer.  If you look at the early videos of many popular clip-makers, it’s clear they’ve honed their skill over time and that what they are doing is not easy.

It's also the case that you can understand a fetish more the longer you have been making clips about it and noticing what people like and what they say about your clips. Fetishes can be very complicated and multi-faceted and it can take a while to become good at making clips about them.

This is not a simple job. Some people might think it's "easy money" if people can get paid to make videos of things like chewing gum, etc. But it's not. Instead, it's that some people take it upon themselves to create the best possible fetish content out there since there is a market for it; people want quality fetish videos.

Being yourself:
Like Sinna says, you have to be yourself. I think about other clip makers that I like, and it’s true, what I like about them is their unique personalities. There are some I just like and some that I don’t like for whatever reason. You can connect with people better by being yourself in your clips and doing things you like in your clips. There are some things people want me to do that just aren’t me, and I don’t do them. When you feel confident and turned on or excited by what you are doing, it shows.

Sinna:
I think Sinna has the best advice out there and I appreciate that she has put it into a guide.

I think she is helping the fetish world to be better and for us to provide better content for fetish customers.
